Applicant needs to submit:

Tourist Visa / Business Visa

1. Application form for Visa – Form BI-84 (Forms completed in English and in black ink).
2. Two (2) identical recent colour passport photos.
3. Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit with two (2) unused pages.
4. Confirmation of status (PR Card/Blue IC/Employment Pass/ Work permit, etc.) and employment in Singapore
5. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
6. Proof of onward air/sea transport ticket or road transport.
7. Proof of admissibility in the foreign country of onward ticket.
8. A refundable repatriation deposit of S$ 3000.00 may be required.
9. Confirmation of accommodation at a hotel/guest house in SA for all dates,

   or an invitation letter from South African host with SA ID number, full address, contact number, email and certified copy of host’s I.D/passport.

10. For minors: birth certificate and letter of consent if not accompanied by parents.

    Holiday Purposes

    Please provide the following, in addition to above requirements:

11. Signed letter from employer reflecting salary, position in company and leave granted for the period of visit or reason for travel.
12. Confirmation letter of tour or booked holiday itinerary.
13. Proof of financial means: original bank statements for the last 3 months.

    Business purposes (including Conferences)

    Please provide the following, in addition to above requirements:

14. Signed letter from employer in Singapore confirming employment, position in company, reason for travel, duration of visit and if they are financially responsible for you. Please also indicate other possible visits to South Africa in the next 3 months (90 days).
15. Letter from the registered company in South Africa that you will visit, duration of visit, reason for visit and/or letter of confirmation/participation at the Conference.
